As the visionary behind Maca, Carlo brings a profound love for the sea and an adventurous spirit to every trip. With extensive sailing experience, he expertly navigates the breathtaking coastlines of Italy and Croatia, ensuring each journey is both safe and exhilarating.
An avid outdoor enthusiast, Carlo’s passion extends beyond sailing to include a variety of sports and nature activities, fostering a vibrant and supportive community. Under his leadership, Maca thrives as a hub for adventure seekers who thrive movement, nature, and community.
Whether steering the catamaran through serene waters, leading dynamic sports activities onshore, or sharing a meal with great people, Carlo is dedicated to making every Maca experience memorable and inspiring.

Robert - Head of Operations
Meet Robert, the brain beheind all our sport trips. For several years, he captained a catamaran, navigating the beautiful waters of the Mediterranean, Canary Islands, and Caribbean.
His extensive sailing expertise is complemented by his skills in free-diving, kitesurfing, kayaking, trail running, climbing (DWS & Sport Climbing) and yoga making him a versatile and inspiring guide for all our adventures. As a seasoned adventure educator, Robert has led outdoor trips in Europe, South Africa, and China, inspiring a love for nature and physical activity.
Whether sailing or enjoying onshore sports, Robert is always there to ensure every Maca adventure is thrilling and rewarding. His unwavering commitment to teamwork unites the crew, embodying the true spirit of Maca.
